Today Better Future for Generations celebrated the international Youth Day under the theme: Youth Engagement for Global Action. The event held virtually due to COVID-19 gathering measures. During the event Dr. NKURUNZIZA, Prosper a University Lecturer who officiated the event said: “Lets join the World and the youth across the globe to celebrate International Youth day, this is an opportunity to youth to think about your potentials and take advantage of the opportunities availed to you locally, nationally and internationally. Make your voices be heard loudly, let your initiatives flourish to develop our nation. Most of the challenges that we face today including COVID-19 outbreak, climate change among others require meaningful engagement of young people to be addressed successfully.

Young people are capable to utilize their potentials and talents to develop the motherland, Rwanda and to influence positive changes in our local communities, nation and globally.
Alice MUTESI a young Rwandan, university student said that this international youth Day means a lot for young people that are capable, brilliant; solid to do things differently they should never compromised by circumstances but work with objectives and achieve the goals.
United Nations adopted the International Youth Day in 2000 with the purpose of draw attention to a given set of cultural and legal issues surrounding youth.
