On June 27th 2021 BFG organized its General Assembly .The meeting was conducted virtually to curb the spread of Coronavirus.  The General Assembly was at  the national level and bring together all organization members the participants includes: all members of the organization, staff and invitees.

On June 27th 2021 BFG organized its General Assembly .The meeting was conducted virtually to curb the spread of Coronavirus.  The General Assembly was at  the national level and bring together all organization members the participants includes: all members of the organization, staff and invitees.

General Assembly had a theme “The role of non- Government organizations in fighting against covid-19”.

In his opening remarks Mr. Jackson MUHETO the CEO and Founder of BFG thanked all participants and said that the Coronavirus Pandemic has caused many chocks to the world and the organization plans in particular and urged all member to have critical thinking and create innovation working  environment.

Executive Director of  BFG has highlighted some achievements so far in  2020 include successfully implantation of Access to clean water as Covid-19 in Kicukiro district Nyaruguga Sector, celebration of International Youth day 2020, Celebration of Disability day 2020 , Support of disabled children and others. The Executive Director has also presented the plan of action 2021 in progress implementation unless Covid19 preventions measures.

The Founder of Peace Center for Forgiveness (PFR) Mr. KIZITO D.KALIMA, presented the role of non-government organizations in fighting against the impact of covid-19 where he mentioned some strategies to use during pandemic period such as: The use on online technologies, work towards results oriented, effective communication and have synergy to achieve the set goals.

The BFG Board Chairperson Mr. Dieudonne NDINDA who was the guest of Honor in this meeting appreciated the discussions, achievements, plans of action and call the members to put much efforts on education awareness of young people, Women and Person with disability for bright future.

BFG General Assembly is held annually to assess the achievements, plans of Action and other organization business according to the internal regulations.

Since 2016, Better Future for Generations in partnership with different partners has carried out different projects aimed to support its beneficiaries in terms of mindset change, Sexual reproductive health, capacity building, ICT and fighting against covid-19. 516 women have trained in ICT, 200 young people trained in ICT and job creation, 30 young women trained in sawing,  56 Hotels and Health Centers were audited the access  of building to Person With Disability, renovation of BDC Nyarugunga Building , support vulnerable people ,advocacy for teen mothers to be supported and other social economic issues.
